The URA territorial reform has been carried out in full

The New Swabia and Coats Republics underwent a territorial reform and have been respectively renamed to Kempland Republic and Argus Republic. The map below which was provided by the State Parliament portrays the new ratified URA territorial boundaries. The initial territorial reformation period has been set to take place from November 24th to December 24th 2020. However, due to the giant amount of underestimated tasks and extended New Year holidays granted to URA citizens the reformation period was prolonged till January 24th, 2021. Today on January 22, 2021 the URA State Parliament confirmed that the territorial reform has been carried out in full two days ahead of the planned date.

President Bratchuk commented on the situation, “This is a great day for all of us. The longterm territorial conflicts with Uzupis and MOCC have been finally resolved by the sole initiative of our citizens - citizens of the URA”.

The New Swabia and Coats Republics territorial shift referendums have officialy ended on November 22, 2020. 85% of its citizens voted for the territorial reformation and renaming of the republics. The URA Presidential Council voted 8 to 4, with 1 abstention, for the territorial reform to take place.
